Overview

thewokbook.com is a small content site about wok cooking, run by J. Kenji López-Alt fans. We aim to collect as little data about you as possible.

What we collect

  • Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, page requested, timestamp) — used for security monitoring and basic traffic statistics. Retained for 30 days.
  • Google Analytics — anonymized page-view statistics. You can opt out by enabling Do Not Track in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Cookies — we do not set tracking cookies of our own. Google Analytics may set its own cookies; see Google’s privacy policy for details.

What we don’t collect

  • No personal account information (we don’t have user accounts).
  • No newsletter sign-up data (we don’t run a newsletter).
  • No comment-form submissions (we don’t have comments).
